Northfield Center-Sagamore Hills Fire District

Over the past several months Trustees from both Sagamore Hills Township and Northfield Center Township have been meeting with representatives from the City of Macedonia to explore regionalizing services among our communities including Fire and EMS.

As community leaders we have long discussed the benefits of regionalizing our services, especially in light of the recent cuts in State funding. Last year we contracted our Police Dispatch Services with the City of Macedonia with great success!

This regionalization combination of Police Dispatch, Fire and EMS services between our community and the City of Macedonia will enhance the level of services to our residents ensuring not just high quality services for our community, but better services for the entire region. Additionally, regionalization would likely save tax dollars!

It is our hope that Northfield Center Township will join with Sagamore Hills Township in regionalizing to enhance Fire and EMS services.
