June 12th Trustee Meeting Events

There were a couple of  special events that took place at the Township Trustee Meeting June 12, 2017.

Officer Paul Valore joined the Sagamore Hills Township Police Department 29 years ago and has decided to embark upon his well earned retirement. Trustee John Zaccardelli presented a proclamation to Officer Valore commending him for his 29 years of dedicated service to Sagamore Hills Township, and wished him good health and great happiness in his retirement.

Police Chief David Hayes requested the hiring of two additional part-time police officers to fill openings in the department. After interviewing and screening over 30 candidates, Officer Gary Petrusky and Officer Jason Lamtman have been hired as part-time officers. Both officers come very highly recommended and will be required to complete a field training process and probationary period. Chief Hayes swore in both officers at the June 12th Trustee meeting and is confident both officers will make fine additions to the Police Department.
