Proclamation Presented to Former Trustee Rose Mary Snell

More than 20 years ago, former Trustee Rose Mary Snell led the effort for Sagamore Hills Township to purchase 191.6328 acres of property from the State of Ohio Department of Mental Health through the Trust for Public Land with the partnership with Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the Cleveland Metro Parks (which discussions were also initiated by Rose Mary Snell), who purchased the remaining area that ultimately preserved more than 450 acres of greenspace.

The Sagamore Hills Township Board of Trustees presented a proclamation to Rose Mary to commemorate the 20-year anniversary of the purchase of the 191 acres of greenspace and thank her for her perseverance and dedication in preserving more than 450 acres of greenspace for residents of Sagamore Hills Township.
